28 December Hard Hunter
We probably cannot say enough good things about the hunter that sent in this picture. He sends us yearly pictures, tells us of his hunts, he is always pleasant and more pleasant than we deserve. He is also the kind of hunter that makes the MAHA staff feel pressure to get such hunters the good kind of hunt they deserve of pheasants rising up in waves, coveys on every field and that special day when the dog has the chance for great field work. All the more so when they bring their youth hunters. In the case of this hunter he does seem to have good hunts, teamed up with another home state member from the buddy list, returns for a couple of hunts each year. We, the MAHA staff, believe we have not yet been able to give him the bird hunt his efforts deserve. We also thank him for his willingness to give us one more try.
Another Traveling Bird HunterJohn, I just got back from [location deleted] and thought I would share some pics. The hunting was really good up until the ice storm.
I added a pic of some turkeys near one of our leases. That area should be good for the turkey hunters.
Always good to see the retrieving pictures. Thank you for the effort to share your pictures.
For AllWe largely keep member names and picture locations anonymous so that no hunter feels he is giving away any hot spot he may have found. These same hunters also realize their sending in pictures promotes the Association keeping it not just viable, but strong. The payback is more of the better land in the right regions to gain the hunter the hunt quality he is after. |
