...I arrived at the lease at daybreak and walked about a half mile to get the wind in my favor. I entered the woods along a steep logging road, working my way to the top open hayfield. After about 50 yds, or so I had a nice Doe walk within 20yds. of me. You know with my reputation, it was hard to let any deer walk, but I did. Close to the top, a flock of turkeys flew off the roost and surrounded me. After they fed away I approached the top of the road and opening. I eased out into the opening and spotted a deer laying in the grass about 75yds. away. I then could see the horns...Kirk
