Late Season

WOW, WOW, WOW. what a heck of a way to start the New Year. Your suggestion for a late hunt was right on. You guys are really something and joining this club is one of the best decisions I've ever made. This big boy came into the scents I had out and after a 25 yard shot went out into the field and laid down. I could see him still moving his head right at dark but I knew that I had hit the back of the lungs. After getting down I went out to were I'd seen him last and he was gone. Not finding much blood I decided to back out and let him be until morning. The coyotes where raising cane when I got back to my truck and I prayed they wouldn't find him before I did. First thing this morning found him only 60 yards further but unfortunately the coyotes found him during the night. Great, Great hunt thanks again for all your help.

Two pictures of a fine rack.

Thank you for sharing yet another set of fine pictures. Sticking it out for the late season is a tough hunt and you put it together, congratulations on a fine archery harvest.

For the rest of us we have seen this hunter and his partner during spring turkey and fall deer seasons for a good couple of years and they have shown some great bow hunting success that would rival the best video to be seen. And, better than a video they lived the experience.

Father and Son

John,

I would like to thank you for helping me and my son get started in your club. As you might recall my first hunt did not turn out well but you encouraged me to keep trying. And we did as true hunters do.

My 11 year old son had the time of his life. Plenty of shots at very smart birds. The birds were very smart with most of them out working our young dog but just the sight of them flushing was great. We were treated to quail, pheasants and deer everyday.

Thanks again for a great outdoor adventure,

Mark & Jason

Thank you Mark and Jason for sharing your pictures. We hope some of them made it to your wall to brighten your day during the long summer to come!

First Season Dog

The only text with this picture from Kevin a long time quail hunter stated: "A good day for a first year dog."

A side note of the dog in the box is she died this season soon after this hunt due to a bacteria infection affecting her internal organs.

Thanks Kevin and good luck.
