A blue sky background really magnifies the green heads on mallard drakes. The whistle of their wings as they come in is a sound that can only be appreciated by those that have heard it.
Spring TurkeyThe collective observation of your Association staff and several hunter/members is that we anticipate a tougher than last year spring turkey season. Winter flock numbers in size and counts are down with the only correlation we can detect being increased coyote numbers. The coyote population is also healthy with little mange observed.
