28 March Field Shots
One western Kansas golden nugget of a spot. No one that has not walked such ground would recognize the value of this spot. Those that have instantly see grain fields near and far with two types of seasonal food sources and a large, out of sight loafing area.
The landscape picture two up and this turkey picture above were taken by the same member with an eye for what is valued. Those that have not yet hunted in the central mid-west gain much from seeing how little wooded area exists on the plains, its vastness, and its potential. Those that have hunted the big open of Kansas tell of an attraction brought by that ground is what brings many big woods states hunters back for years of hunts.
A handful of hunters will recognize this dog and know its owner. To hunt with them is a good hunt, good company and great dog action. |
