27 May FishingWith the number of non-resident members on the rise, the amount of fishing pressure on club land has slowed down considerably over the past 15 years, but it’s still available on a large scale for those that enjoy the sport of fishing.
The wind and rain have made spring fishing difficult, especially for the crappies. Channel cats and bluegills are plentiful and overlooked on most of our bodies of water, so if you are after some fish to eat don’t forget about them.
Please be prepared to walk if the roads and paths leading to the ponds, pits and lakes are muddy. Also, if you open a gate to get in close it behind you.
We had a compliment recently from a landowner that He hasn’t seen a speck of trash since he leased his lake to the club.
