To All at MAHA, I had a good turkey season. Enclosed are some photos from 2008 turkey pursuits. I was only able to hunt [location deleted] this year but it did not disappoint. Living in central Arkansas most of my turkey hunting around home is in the woods so I really love to chase the birds up north. I was fortunate to take two beautiful Rio Grande birds in [location deleted] and [location deleted] counties. Those turkeys can be tough because they are relatively easy to see but can be difficult to get close to.

I did attract one big green machine with my turkey decoys !! I had to get up and move them as a farmer came into the field I was hunting with a sprayer. We waved at each other and went about our respective business. I did get a turkey in that very field later the next day. Thanks for putting together quality land for me to hunt!!!

P.S. The bow killed turkey was taken on my family's farm here in Arkansas not on a MAHA property but I had to include it because it is my first turkey with a bow. Also it was one of two that came in and the remaining bird put on an amazing show!!!!

Have a good summer, Greg

Congratulations on your good hunt. It has been a tough spring with those that done well and those that had tough conditions and bad luck. Special congratulations on your first bow kill. We wanted to recognize that special accomplishment even if it was not on MAHA land as we fully understand its value to you.
