For those that truly love to duck hunt, our wetlands are chest wader accessible, have 30+ stilt and several float blinds built of 2x6 lumber, seat 5 and are covered with our own agriculturally grown rippy grass. We have been in the duck business for a long time and have a good understanding of the micro flyways. Our hunts are on 100% private wetlands we lease for our exclusive use and are free of any WRP type habitat restrictions allowing us to create exactly the kind of duck attracting wetlands that ensures that if the migration is on we have ducks. We drain, dry, plant, cut and flood to our choice of water level each of our Missouri wetlands enhancing their waterfowl attraction. Come to Missouri and waterfowl hunt our wetlands once and the hunter will return for years to come. Missouri Duck Our waterfowl hunters come from a wide range of backgrounds. Most of our waterfowl hunters are more duck than goose and drake only hunters with the hens being incidental to a drake shot. This effect is due to first the average age of our waterfowl hunters being in the gray hair zone along with the leisurely pace of our wetlands essentially eliminating stealing flights due to blind separation and skybusting through limited competition allowing the true art of duck calling and decoying to come through. |

We also have a large selection of farm ponds, watershed lakes without blinds to setup a more basic do it yourself waterfowl hunt. This includes another 8,000 acres in Missouri crop stubble on a variety of water bodies for goose spreads. In the pursuit of geese the waterfowl hunter will find additional opportunities outside of Missouri with many good areas in Kansas. For the most part our Missouri waterfowl areas allow goose harvests incidental to a wetlands duck hunt. This is made possible as some of our Missouri wetlands attract enough of both on open water as well as adjoining crop fields. Missouri Wetlands 
Early teal season, a flight above one of our Missouri wetlands. We could have been out there with our shotguns. We were not. Our job is not to get hunts for ourselves. Our job is to get good waterfowl hunts for our members. 
This picture is well after wetlands draining and planting. After we get the millet to head we close the drain gates and acquire "free" water from rainfall runoff. By early teal season the deeper parts of the open water start to fill creating large mud flat areas the teal use heavily. Our Missouri waterfowl hunts and wetlands are available from early teal, to the regular season through late and spring goose. 
This particular wetlands we have a 12 acre reservoir lake as back up should mother nature not supply us with enough water come duck season. |
