Pheasant and Deer
We feel honored that members send in pictures and hunting accounts. All the more so when a first year member has some success.
In the case of Bob's pictures, traveling a full day's drive time we feel the pressure of providing as good of a hunt for all as we can. The first year member brings us a bit more pressure as we all recognize it takes more than one trip and more than one year to gain the full advantage MAHA brings to the self guided hunter. At the rate Bob has started he is bound to have an increasingly better time with each trip.
"...muzzleloader hunt. Hunted five days [location deleted]. Got this buck on the last evening..."
"...hunted pheasants for 4 days..."

Thanks Bob for the feedback. Good looking dog, field pictures.
Central Midwest Winters
The 2008-2009 winter to date has been mild with limited snowfall keeping much field waste grain available for wildlife. These pictures are from January 13 showing plenty of field corn available to carry wildlife fat stores through the second half of winter.
