"Good days happen enough to keep me going."
So often we hear that there are no quail. The land is bad. One hunter cannot hunt pheasants, pheasants require gang hunts. Pheasants do not hold for point. One dog cannot hunt both pheasant and quail. One dog breed is better than another. Then we get the pictures that show nothing changed. The arm chair hunting experts, motel parking lot beer can in hand hunting season pontificators and those that feel the world should be as they want it rather than the way it is step aside leaving more room for those that want to try.
Tribute to Ron
Ron worked hundreds of hours over the past 15 years planting and maintaining duck lakes for the Association. Monday evening Ron lost his life from a tractor accident mowing a duck lake levee. He was greatly admired by the staff for his hard work, mechanical skills and upbeat personality. Hat's off to Ron and his family!
