The season seems so long ago...Libby on point over a single...
Kelly pointing another scattered and running covey. She held good and we harvested one bird...
An all day hunt at the time of the season when we did not hunt too hard. Found 4 healthy coveys and saw a lot of pheasant...
A good day for us..we do not hunt like we used to.

Scouting always builds anticipation. The buck below was after the season in January. I have several trailcam pics of him...Then while scouting this weekend I think I have seen him again in velvet...bigger...his rack shows well in pics and in field...same farm on the same trails...maybe this year I'll tag him...thanks for keeping the land...
