Kansas Turkey Season To Come
Member Joe Steve graciously shared these western Kansas Rio Grande Turkey pictures with us.

For the rest of us Joe just recently joined Mid-America Hunting Association, went out to Kansas scouting for spring turkey spots and developed at least two options for where to hunt.

Thank you Joe for some great live bird habitat pictures.

More Turkey
Travis sent these in as motivation for the rest of us for turkey season.

Thank you Travis, nicely composed pictures. Thank you for taking that extra effort to set up the good back grounds and bird.

One aspect we found associated with those hunters willing to share their hunt pictures is they are the ones most likely to seek the leisurely aspect of the hunt. This may be opposed to those that we also deal with that make the hunt a competition to beat their buddy. From our side of the telephone each picture is the best job satisfaction we get. We remember those that send in pictures when the next season rolls around and folks are interested in what we have seen the year prior For those that sent in pictures we are generous with our observations.

Recent Land Run
We've had feedback over the years from out of state hunters who scout before fall harvest. When they return to hunt and the soybeans are harvested they panic thinking the food source is gone since the bean stubble is flush to the ground. This and many other photos we have taken during the fall and winter months show beans are a primary food source for all types of game during and after the main seasons.
