A late season MO buck harvested by a 1st year member.

Late season archery hunting is greatly underused. Each year one or two of the few determined hunters harvest quality deer like this.
Thank you Brian. Congratulations. Your tenacity came through.

"In the past six months, the Kansas Grassroots Conservation Campaign has raised $2 million towards the campaign's goal of $10 million. The campaign has helped launch PF's Farm Bill biologist program in Kansas. The Farm Bill biologist program is designed to educate farmers and landowners — through one-on-one consulting — about the benefits of conservation programs such as the Conservation Reserve Program and Environmental Quality Incentives Program, and to help farmers and landowners implement their plans."

No great story with this one. It goes that Kevin went to an old spot and it all came together.

Below left is a name from the past. Tom drew up our duck blind plans back in 1982 and the exact plans are still being used. For several years he built and covered many blinds, so he knows what goes on behind the scene with the clubs waterfowl hunting.

Most of the flocks were spooky, made a few passes and decided to move on.

By mid-morning things started to pick up with several groups of 2 to 4 committing to make a successful hunt. Tom, good to see you back in the field. The gear and tactics have changed over the years, but the land is the same as always.
