Another one from a long time Association hunter.

Thank you Al, we always like to see what hunters have taken. Very nice of you to have sent in so many pictures over the years.
Deer
"...seen more deer this year than in years past, mostly doe and smaller bucks, but also a few whoppers..."
A quote we heard in several variations this year from most MAHA regions.
Thanks Nick, we always want to promote doe harvest.
Maps
We are still making small changes with the maps so please double check each map before you make a reservation. Again, if anyone sees an error with the road names make note and call or email the office so we can correct them.
...the first few are my 8 the next two are my son's creation from about 5 years ago I thought you might enjoy and the last few are my uncles 10, my 8 is a 154 and Rick's 10 is a 157...

Thanks Rodney, it is always good to see what folks have done.
Holt County
Lat week the beans were harvested in Holt County. We attempted to pump but ran into an underground electrical problem. A utility vehicle was not able to access the line due to the rain, so we could not turn on the pump until Wednesday evening. Typically, it takes 7 to 10 days to fill the marsh so we will have to work with what we have until it's full. With all of the rain we've had lately we anticipate it will take closer to 7 days to reach capacity.
We apologize to those that had made plans far in advance for the opener, but it's a long season and the hunting gets better and better as the cold weather moves in.
