Administrative | Not all of our wetlands are drained each year as there is simply not time enough to drain, dry, bulldoze, tractor prep, plant all of them each season. This wetlands rotation between letting stand wet year round relying on natural re-growth rather than planted millet and smart weed also insures our having water early in the season on dry years. This wetlands is just such a case.

Showing the door in the open position and blind entrance. Even having not drained this wetlands this year it will take enough water more to cover over the top rung of the entrance ladder. This is a chest wader blind. The wetlands bottom was smoothed out a year ago. |
