Years ago we never had a discussion about wild turkey hunting as we had always simply called our turkey hunting as turkey hunting. The word "wild" is additive do to our exposure to many non-resident turkey hunters traveling from many states asking us if our turkey hunting was for wild turkeys.

What we come to understand from the non-resident turkey hunter is they were seeking a truly fair chase turkey hunt not influenced by feeders, propagated birds or other man influenced turkey behavior. We can accurately guarantee our turkeys to be wild simply as we have far too much lease land to post feeders, we do not guide or run a hunting club therefore have no need to influence flock behavior and we simply have plenty enough spring roosts identified that every spring turkey hunter will be able to hunt wild turkeys as not all our land is hunted each spring.

Further, turkey hunting being the skill demanding discipline that it is keeps our turkey hunter numbers limited, the season is long and most are happy with tagging one tom rather than pursuing all available tags to be filled.

For the self guided hunter seeking a wild turkey hunt we have the lease land, the flocks and the flexibility of scheduling that all do it yourself turkey hunters can easily be turkey hunting their home state as well as in Missouri, Iowa and Kansas each spring season.
